Best time to go?

With its warm climate, there really isn’t a bad time to visit in Grenada – temperatures range up to the overage 29-31° C. The dry season is between December and May but this also the main tourist season with higher rates for flights and accommodation. In the rainy season from June to November you will find the island in very green with more flowers and fruits with a rain mostly in the night or short showers followed by bright sunshine that does everything in minutes.
The most romantic time you could experience in Cabier is the time around full moon. Then you will see thousands of glittering sparkling light in the sea when the moon is rising out of the ocean.

If you like to party then choose the first two weeks in August – because Grenada’s biggest event is the carnival with costumes, music and of course rum and local food all the way around St.Georges harbor.

Grenada is located at around latitude 12 ° N and 61 ° 45 W which puts Grenada in the path of the Easterly Trade winds, this what makes the Windward Islands perfect for sailing. Check out our stay and sail offer. The wind perfectly cools all our guestrooms, villas and apartments naturally. We also have some allocations with air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

How to get around in Grenada?

By Bus:
By far the cheapest way to get around is by bus. These privately owned but government regulated minivans cram in as many people as possible, drive very fast and plays loud reggae, raga and soca. Don’t be intimidated, however, as they’re also great fun and safe and the locals are very friendly!
Buses run from 6 am – 8 pm daily, with a less frequent service on Sundays and holidays. Routes run from the main terminal at the market in St.George’s to cover the entire island. Simply ask the driver which bus to get on. There are regular bus stops and you can also flag one down at any point along the way, and with their constant honking, you’ll always know when they are around.
